Design of 22 kV Cable Network in the Existing Complex of Faculty Hospital

This thesis describes the reconstruction network 10 kV HV networks in a teaching hospital in the transition to a new 22 kV voltage level according to valid regulations. The paper describes the current state of technological equipment and its gradual replacement with new technology at 22 kV voltage level in each power units so as not to limit the operation of the hospital. For this purpose, the new backup system for rotating spare resources. The thesis deals with new input distribution, which will serve as a transfer point between the customer and distributor of electricity as well as advance the existing technological equipment.

Merging of state contributory organisations and organizational units in the competence of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic Abstract The thesis focuses on the consolidation of state contributory organizations and organizational units of the state within the scope of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic. The initial stage involved mapping all relevant state contributory organizations, organizational units, and state enterprises, which fall under the jurisdiction of the Ministry. Subsequently, state contributory organizations suitable for consolidation, such as the University Hospital Brno, St. Anne's University Hospital Brno, and Centre of Cardiovascular and Transplantation Surgery, were identified. The thesis is divided into five chapters covering topics including organizational units, state contributory organizations, state enterprises, specific state contributory organizations providing healthcare services, and the possibilities of merging these entities. The fifth chapter describes the possibilities of merging the identified entities, with the author attempting to offer solutions for potential consolidation. This diploma thesis deals with the hospital financial system in the Czech Republic. Specifically, the thesis is focused on university hospitals. The first part provides a description of the health care system in the Czech Republic, health care funding, and the DRG system. The second part consists of inpatient care analysis and evaluation of the university hospital financial system. The evaluation is based on financial analysis of university hospitals and determination of their financial health. The final part contains suggestions and recommendations leading to an improvement of university hospital efficiency.
Faktory ovlivňující hospodaření fakultních nemocnic v ČR

Diploma thesis focuses on factors, which could affect the economic result of university hospitals. Panel data analysis is used for the quantification of influence variables on the economic result of hospitals. On the basis of said research questions, the data are divided into non-economic part and part of economic indicators and at the same time into the part included all ten university hospitals and the part without the Military University Hospital Prague, which became the university hospital in 2012. From the non-economic indicators show as a influential variables the representation of the seniors, the use of beds, the number of doctors per bed, the total population increase and the number of hospitalized per doctor. From the economic indicators is certain influence observed in the private health expenditure per inhabitant, the expenses of insurance companies per hospitalized and the basic rate of value-added tax. In addition to the quantitative factors, the qualitative factors have also been influenced by the economic result of university hospitals.

Teislerová, K. Financing and management of university hospitals in the Czech Re-public. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2017. This thesis is focused on the financing and management of university hospitals in the Czech Republic. The first part defines the basic concepts of health care (such as the health care system, health care and the non-profit sector). Further, the fi-nancing of health care is analysed and the hospitals are described. Next, the fi-nancial analysis indicators are explained in the first part. The second part of the thesis introduces a financial analysis of the St. Anne´s University Hospital in Brno. Finally, the results are summarized and recommendations for increasing the effi-ciency of the university hospital suggested.
Faculty hospital employee educational requirement analysis

This diploma thesis focuses on topic of educational needs of hospital and faculty of medicine employees, concretely doctors performing medical and pedagogical services. The theoretical part deals with the issue of employee management and development and with legislative confirmation of doctors need to constantly educate themselves. Lifelong learning, by extension, andragogy, is a tool for more active using of innovative methods and instruments for developing digital competences. Economical, sociological and sociopolitical analysis reflect educational needs analysis and emphasize the need for lifelong learning without regard for subjective or objective typological dimension. The major goal of this thesis is to analyze current condition of doctor's educational needs who perform medical and pedagogical services considering continual digitization development. I chose qualitative research investigation, two methods of questioning to gain required data. The analysis of doctor's educational needs in university hospital proved that current industrial revolution is professionally included not only by reason of subjective dimension of needs but also because of protecting themselves and their employers at particular performances.
Using tobacco products in the staff of the Královské Vinohrady Teaching Hospital Prague

In this bachelor thesis called "Using tobacco products in the staff of the Královské Vinohrady Teaching Hospital" I focused mainly on smoking status of employees of the Královské Vinohrady Teaching Hospital (FNKV) and Third Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in a process of inclusion of this hospital to the European Network of Non-smoking Hospitals and the level of providing brief interventions in smoking patients. In the first theoretical part, I describe strategies aimed at the control of tobacco products and treatment of tobacco dependence in a scope of the activities of WHO and EU, the control of tobacco products and legislation in the Czech Republic, important organisations such as Society for the treatment of tobacco dependence etc.. Moreover I focus on prevalence of tobacco use in the whole population of the Czech Republic, on use of tobacco in students of medicine and health professionals.I introduce the most often used forms of tobacco..
